Ace has promoted underwriting manager for energy insurance in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Mojgan Khoshabi to the role of managing director of the region.
Effective 1 July, Khoshabi will be responsible for Ace’s strategic direction across MENA. She will remain in Ace’s Bahrain office.
Khoshabi’s MENA (re)insurance career spans more than 30 years – the last four of which she spent with Ace.
Ace group regional president Eurasia and Africa Giles Ward said: “Mojgan’s extensive insurance industry management and underwriting experience across a wide range of risk classes, combined with her excellent market relationships, make this a very well-deserved promotion.”
Khoshabi succeeds Steve Dixon who has been promoted to the position of Special Advisor to Ace overseas general in London.
