Assicurazioni Generali's board of directors have announced that Assicurazioni Generali and PPF Group N.V., through Ceska pojistovna, a life and non-life insurance group in the Czech Republic, have entered into a preliminary joint venture agreement to create the leading insurer in the Central and Eastern European region.
