Guy Carpenter makes Matthias Meyenhofer managing director

Guy Carpenter has appointed Matthias Meyenhofer as managing director and head of global partners EMEA.

Meyenhofer joins from ACE Group, where he was division president of ACE Tempest Re. Like his previous role, Meyenhofer’s Guy Carpenter position will be based in Zurich.

Meyenhofer reports into head of strategic advisory and global partners Eric Paire, who commented that Meyenhofer’s underwriting perspective, gaining during to his time at AXIS Capital as Vice President and Reinsurance Treaty Underwriter prior to ACE, would add “greater insight into the extensive range of services” Guy Carpenter offers.

Paire said: “Matthias’s wide-ranging European experience perfectly matches the scope of our large EMEA-based clients.”
