Probitas 1492 targets Latin America for growth

Probitas syndicate 1492 announced the appointment of Lloyd’s current Mexico Country Manager, Gabriel Anguiano, as head of strategy & business development for Latin America.

Reporting directly to Probitas 1942 chief executive Ash Bathia, Anguiano joins after nine years at Lloyd’s of London and will be in charge of driving business growth across Latin America. He will also become a member of the executive board.

Ash Bathia said: “We are incredibly excited and privileged to have attracted someone of Gabriel’s calibre to further strengthen our executive team. Part of our core strategy is to deliver new and accretive business into the Lloyd’s market, particularly out of Latin America, by reaching out to the original source of the business – Gabriel will play a significant role in allowing us to achieve this.”
