Tokio Marine Kiln hires fine art underwriter

Tokio Marine Kiln has appointed Louis Robertson as fine art and specie underwriter in its London office.

Robertson joins from Watkins Syndicate, where he was fine art & specie senior underwriter.

Robertson will join Tokio’s marine & enterprise risk cargo underwriting team, which includes a number of fine art accounts. He will report to that team’s active underwriter, Peter Merton.

Merton said: “Fine art and specie is an area in which Tokio Marine Kiln has a growing share of the market. Hiring specialist experts such as Louis enables us to offer our clients an increased range of diverse products and expertise.
