Willis profits double; board member resigns

Willis has almost doubled its earnings, the company revealed in its Q3 results. Reported net income for the quarter ended 30 September 2006 was $89m, or $0.56 per diluted share, compared with net income of $45m, or $0.28 per diluted share, a year ago.
